Florida pays toward private education for nearly every child, yet the pieces a Lee County parent needs sit in different places: the award table in one PDF, the deadlines in an FAQ, and school participation in a state export few people open. Fort Myers Edu Funding pulls them together for Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Estero and the rest of the county.
When a parent completes the funding check, a tuition counselor reads it and phones back. If a school ever pays to work with us, its page says so, and that has no bearing on which programs we tell a family about.
Where does the school data come from?
School pages are built from the Florida DOE private school register for the Lee district file we downloaded October 28, 2026. From it we take the state number, street address, grade span, religious tie, student body, accrediting bodies, enrollment by grade, survey year and Step Up program flags. Of the 71 Lee schools in that file, 55 carried the FTC/FES-EO marker; FES-UA and PEP markers numbered 50 and 5. The Lee export carried no websites or disability categories, so we don't show them.
Where do the dollar amounts come from?
Step Up For Students' 2026-27 county tables: $8,779 K-3, $8,193 4-8 and $8,001 9-12 for the Private School Scholarship and PEP in Lee, and $11,345 / $10,759 / $10,567 at FES-UA matrix levels 1-3. Dates come from Step Up's 2026-27 deadline and payment FAQ. Prices aren't in any state file, so a school has to supply its own.
Spot something wrong? A school can correct its record at the source by refiling the state survey, and we'll fix our copy sooner if you write or call: hello@fortmyersedufunding.com or (239) 747-0538.
Boss Leads operates Fort Myers Edu Funding. The site has no tie to Step Up For Students, AAA, the Florida Department of Education or the School District of Lee County, and it doesn't hand out scholarships.
