School-Based Tuition Assistance

What each campus does on its own: grants based on need, discounts for siblings or church members, and monthly plans. It's often what closes the final stretch of the bill.

Last verified: October 2026. Checked against Step Up For Students' 2026-27 award tables, handbooks and purchasing guides.

What should I ask a Lee County school about its own aid?

Three things: does the school accept the Florida Private School Scholarship, what will I owe for my child's grade once it is applied, and what assistance or discounts reduce that number. Ask for the after-scholarship figure in writing, broken into tuition and fees.

When do Lee schools award their own aid?

Often in spring for the following fall, after the family's state scholarship is confirmed. Bishop Verot, for example, asked for the Step Up acceptance letter before reviewing a file.
